Accessing the Early Voting Site at North Carolina Central University During Saturday’s Homecoming Events

Durham, NC – On Saturday, October 25th, during North Carolina Central University’s (NCCU) Homecoming special events, the Turner Law building will remain open as an early voting site for Durham County voters from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

 
During these events, voters can access the Turner Law Building at the intersection of NC Highway 55 and Burlington Avenue. Directional signage will point voters to drive through campus on Lincoln Street to then enter the designated Early Voting parking lot beside the Turner Law Building. Voters can enter the Turner Law building as normal.  

Curbside voting will be available in the roundabout fronting the Turner Law Building.  
 
The following street closures will be in effect for the day:  

  • Nelson Street from Fayetteville Street 

  • Cecil Street from Fayetteville Street to South Alston Avenue 

  • Martha Street from Fayetteville Street 

  • Burlington Avenue from Fayetteville Street
