Durham, NC – The Durham County Board of Elections staff has released the recommended Early Voting plan for the 2026 Statewide General Election (11/03/2026). The early voting period will take place from Thursday, October 15^th through Saturday, October 31^st. To view the proposed plan, click the link below to visit the Board of Elections’ Early Voting page. Public comments on the proposal may also be submitted at the same location.

The public comment period will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on May 12, 2026. The Board will review and consider the proposed Early Voting plan at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
